Overview of case study
Siemens needed to house workers at their Rotterdam head office, in a market with strict local requirements, including mandatory registration to verify identity and address at the town hall.
PAP opened a euro account to manage currency conversion directly, and navigated the Dutch registration process on workers’ behalf so nothing was left for the team to untangle themselves. Culturally appropriate touches were built in throughout, including proper coffee machines for the German members of the team, and furnishings were delivered in person, including an overnight ferry crossing to get everything there on time.
Very few providers operate across borders at all, let alone manage foreign currency and overseas compliance as part of the service. It remains PAP’s only completed international placement to date, on a relationship that has run for more than ten years.
